Meet Dr. Pakko
I am an economist. I spent more than 15 years as a research economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis, then served as chief economist and state economic forecaster at the Arkansas Economic Development Institute at UA Little Rock. For years, when Arkansas needed straight answers about its own economy, producing them was my job.
Numbers do not care about party, and neither should the office that runs our elections. The Secretary of State is an administrator: accurate voter rolls, clean business filings, transparent procedures, and elections every Arkansan can trust. That work should be done professionally, not politically.
I have chaired the Libertarian Party of Arkansas for about a decade, and I carried our banner statewide as the 2024 nominee for Treasurer. In 2025 our volunteers gathered thousands of signatures just to earn a place on your 2026 ballot. No Arkansan should have to petition their way to the starting line while the two old parties write the rules for themselves.
I am asking for your vote on November 3. Not to help one team beat the other, but to take the referee's whistle away from the players entirely.

Campaign Issues
Elections are infrastructure. Dr. Pakko will run the office like the professional operation it should be: accurate voter rolls, well-supported county clerks, published procedures, and counts the public can verify.
The referee should not wear a team jersey. Fair ballot access, even-handed rule making, and equal treatment for every candidate and party, so voters choose their leaders instead of the other way around.
An economist shows his work. Open records, clear public reporting, and election and business-filing data published in forms citizens and the press can actually use.
Endorsements
Early endorsements carry the most weight. If you believe Arkansas elections should be run by a professional instead of a party, say so publicly and invite your neighbors to look twice.
